In order to protect it, she built a wall around it and even after her escape, she couldn’t break it down.
Now, war was coming again, and her power was needed to sway the odds against the enemy. Reluctantly, she returns to fight for the same kingdom that betrayed her and is assigned a combat trainer to help get her power back. He is brutal, dark, and pushes her to her breaking point more often than not.
An earth-shattering betrayal rocks her world just as she thought she was making progress and it takes everything she has to fight for the world she loves, even if she can’t trust anyone in it.
